International Physiology Journal

Aims and Scope

International Physiology Journal aims to publish articles covering the entire spectrum of physiology, from the cellular and molecular to the organ and system level. IPJ dedicates to the advancement of physiological research, to meet the needs of research investigators, educators, and information specialists interested in the physiological sciences.

IPJ accepts original Research, Review, Literature review, Conference proceedings, Case reports, Short communication, Thesis, Letter to the editor, and Editorials covering all the areas of physiology with new physiological principles and mechanisms.

One of the main aims of the International Physiology Journal is to provide a platform for the publication of original research that advances our understanding of physiological processes and their role in health and disease. We welcome submissions of research articles that report on new findings or approaches in the field of physiology, as well as review articles that provide an overview of current knowledge in a particular area or highlight recent developments. We also consider case reports that describe interesting or unusual physiological phenomena or provide new insights into physiological processes.

In addition to publishing research and review articles, the International Physiology Journal also aims to promote the exchange of ideas and information within the physiological community. We encourage authors to submit articles that address important issues and challenges in the field, and we welcome submissions from researchers working in all areas of physiology and related disciplines.

The scope of the International Physiology Journal includes all aspects of physiology, including but not limited to:

Cellular and molecular physiology: studies of the structure and function of cells and their components, including the molecular mechanisms underlying physiological processes.

Systems physiology: studies of the functioning of organs and organ systems, including the interactions between different physiological systems.

Comparative physiology: studies that use a comparative approach to understand physiological processes, including studies of physiological adaptations to different environments or lifestyles.

Physiological genomics: studies that use genomic techniques to understand physiological processes, including studies of gene expression, regulation, and function.

Environmental physiology: studies that examine the effects of environmental factors on physiological processes, including studies of the physiological responses to changes in temperature, humidity, altitude, and other environmental conditions.

Exercise physiology: studies of the physiological responses to physical activity and exercise, including studies of the effects of exercise on cardiovascular, respiratory, and musculoskeletal systems.

Physiology of aging: studies of the physiological changes that occur during aging and the impact of these changes on health and disease.

We welcome submissions from researchers working in all areas of physiology and related disciplines, and we are committed to publishing a diverse range of articles that reflect the broad range of research being conducted in the field. If you are interested in submitting your work to the International Physiology Journal, please check out our guidelines for authors and submit your manuscript through our online submission system.

We appreciate your interest in publishing in the International Physiology Journal, and we look forward to considering your submission. If you have any questions about the submission process, please contact the editorial office.
