The Journal of Skeletal Muscle (JSM) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that focuses on the research, diagnosis, and treatment of skeletal muscle in health and disease. The journal covers all aspects of skeletal muscle research such as physiology, structure, cell biology, genetics, metabolism, and biomechanics. Research topics covered in the journal include investigations of muscle structure and function, muscle force, metabolism, research on exercise and physical activity, muscle regeneration and repair, and the effects of disease on skeletal muscle.
