The importance and need for this special issue:
The theme of the issue include impacts of heavy metals, fertilizer, industrial effluents, food processing effluents, pesticides, crude oil and natural gas, municipal solid wastes, noxious gases emitted during combustion processes on the ecology of animals (mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, fishes, arthropods, plants viz: higher and lower plants, and microorganisms)
