Aims and Scope

 

Journal of Tissue Repair and Regeneration (JTRR) is an international, peer-reviewed, Open Access journal that focuses on research and reviews in the field of tissue repair and regeneration. This includes research and reviews related to tissue mechanics, biomaterials, biochemistry and biophysics, cellular and molecular biology, biomechanics, developmental biology, stem cell biology, gene and drug discovery and therapy, and imaging.


The journal also covers the clinical aspects of tissue repair and regeneration, including diagnosis, surgical strategies, rehabilitation, and tissue engineering. These themes will be explored through reviews, editorials, original research, case reports, and commentaries. The journal strives to provide a forum to discuss how basic science observations of tissue repair and regeneration can lead to therapeutic applications.


JTRR publishes high quality articles that advance our understanding and application of tissue repair and regeneration. The journal aims to disseminate knowledge to academics, researchers, and clinicians and ultimately to benefit patient care. The editors are particularly interested in articles that focus on translation of research findings from the lab to the clinic and back, and expect to feature interdisciplinary teams of authors from a wide range of backgrounds.


JTRR will also feature content on special topics related to tissue repair and regeneration. All published manuscripts are made freely available as open access articles, making them freely available to all readers with no subscription or access charges.
